The Festival Lumière, Lyon, is celebrating the work of Frank Capra with a retrospective focusing on his most prolific period during the Hollywood Golden Age of the 1930s. Looking at Capra's work with Columbia Pictures, this retrospective charts a period of artistic freedom, productivity and acclaim during which the director developed his trademark themes and concerns.
